About Laura
Laura J. Chipman is an associate attorney with Pargulski & Hauser Law Offices. Laura provides legal services in the areas of criminal law, juvenile law, personal injury law, and employment discrimination.
Laura graduated from the University of Iowa, with high distinction, in 2004, receiving her B.S. in Psychology with Honors and a minor in Sociology. Laura was a member of the University of Iowa Softball Team from 2000-2004 and received Academic All-Big Ten and Academic All-American Honors. She received her Juris Doctorate degree in 2008 from Drake University. While at Drake University, Laura was a member of the Delta Theta Phi law fraternity and served as the President of Drake Law Women from 2007-2008. Laura was a Student Criminal Defense Attorney at the Drake Legal Clinic, was the legal clerk at an employment discrimination law firm, and was a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Drake University Softball Team.
Laura is a member of the Polk County, Iowa State, and American Bar Associations and is a member of the Polk County Women Attorneys. Laura was admitted to the Iowa bar in 2008.
