About Laura
Laura has extensive experience in defending health care professionals. She has successfully represented clients in malpractice actions in state and federal court, in administrative proceedings and in appellate matters. She has defended nursing homes, long term care facilities for the mentally ill, home health care providers, doctors, dentists, psychotherapists, optometrists and nurses. She has expertise in both the Illinois Nursing Home Care Act and the Illinois Sexual Exploitation in Psychotherapy Act.
Her practice also includes employment and housing discrimination matters, civil rights litigation, product liability, premises liability and automobile liability. She is also a frequent lecturer at long-term care facilities on risk management and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
