About Lauren
Lauren Jarvis Shah joined Hendrickson & Long, PLLC in Spring 2023, immediately continuing her recognized history of defending in mass litigation and against toxic torts claims. Lauren joined H&L after eight-plus years representing clients at another prestigious West Virginia Law Firm, and also worked at a national insurance defense firm.
Lauren, who grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee, graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee in 2010, with a Bachelor of Arts in History. She then obtained both her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina and her Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School in 2013. She is authorized to practice law by the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia and the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.
Lauren’s legal practice is only matched by her dedication to her family and community. Lauren serves on the board of the West Virginia Women’s Alliance, whose cross-partisan advocacy is aimed to protect women’s access to comprehensive healthcare and equal protection under the law. She previously was a board member of the Junior League and the Board of Directors of The India Center, both located in Charleston.
In her legal practice at H&L, Lauren focuses in the areas of Toxic Torts, Products Liability and Asbestos Litigation.
