About Leah
Leah Berger is an associate in the firm's Commercial Department. She has experience representing developers in a range of real estate transactions including development, acquisition, disposition, leasing, syndication, and financing through bond financing, tax credit financing and bank financing. She also routinely represents lenders in connection with real estate financing, including construction loans, as well as asset based lending transactions. Ms. Berger also represents small businesses in a variety of general corporate matters, including entity formation, stock purchases and sales and asset purchases and sales.
While attending law school, Ms. Berger was a Legal Analyst at Chubb & Son, a division of Federal Insurance Company, where she drafted endorsement and policy language for professional liability insurance policies. Ms. Berger has extensive knowledge of Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Errors and Omissions Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Not-for-Profit Organization Liability, Healthcare Organization Liability, Crime, Kidnap/Ransom, and Excess coverage and continues to counsel clients with respect to specialty coverage in addition to coverage issues relating to other types of insurance.
