Lee C. Patton represents businesses in litigation arising from products liability claims, construction failure, automotive or trucking liability and negligence actions, general premises or operational risk, liquor liability and insurance coverage claims. In his more than 25 years of practice, he has also represented clients in lawsuits involving legal, medical and insurance professional liability.

Mr. Patton is a member of the Detroit and Oakland County Bar Associations. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Association of Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, and has been named an Outstanding Lawyer of America. He is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan Sections on Negligence, Tax and Business Law and General Business.

Mr. Patton has lectured to many insurance and industry groups on the subjects of premises liability, Michigan personal injury and non-fault litigation, dram shop and construction litigation.

Mr. Patton was captain of the tennis team at Eastern Michigan University and twice named one of the Outstanding Scholar Athletes of America at Eastern Michigan University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in business management. He joined Sullivan, Ward, Asher & Patton, P.C. as an associate attorney in 1979 and became a shareholder in the firm in 1986.
