About Leslie

Leslie J. Rase graduated from Widener University School of Law and received her J.D. in 1989.

Leslie was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation from Friends Select High School, she became a communication disorders major at Pennsylvania State College, graduating in 1981. Leslie then had the opportunity to travel to Milan, Italy where she taught English as a second language to both children and adults until 1983.

In 1990 Leslie began her legal career in insurance subrogation representing insurance companies in all aspects of motor vehicle and property damage claims. In 1992, Leslie worked at the Philadelphia-based firm of Federman and Phelan representing mortgage lenders and mortgage companies in all aspects of creditor's rights throughout the consumer bankruptcy process. Leslie then ventured into private practice exclusively devoted to consumer bankruptcy, Social Security disability and workers' compensation claims. In 2000, Leslie was staff attorney at the Philadelphia office of the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Standing Trustee. In 2002, Leslie again represented mortgage lenders in consumer bankruptcy cases in a Delaware County-based creditor's rights law firm.

At the present time, Leslie has joined forces with Robert H. Holber, Esquire. Her practice is devoted primarily to consumer protection and injured individuals. As such, she represents individuals in consumer bankruptcy, defense of mortgage foreclosures, predatory lending actions, Social Security disability and workers' compensation matters.

On a personal note, Leslie is married and has a son and daughter. She has been practicing full time since graduating from law school 17 years ago.
