In 2000, Lindsey began working as a law clerk in Grand Forks for a criminal defense law firm. Upon his graduation, he was hired as an attorney in the same firm. Lindsey and his wife relocated to Fargo to expand his career with the same firm shortly after.
Lindsey is licensed as an attorney in North Dakota and Minnesota State and federal courts. He dedicates his practice strictly to criminal defense.

I was able to negotiate a resolution for a client to have a clean record and not have to register as a predatory offender if he can remain law abiding. This is a huge result for the client!
How did you build a successful practice?Hard work and word of mouth, along with top-notch communication with clients to keep them up to date on their cases at all times.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?Great communication and passion for justice.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?Crucial. Knowledge of the judges and prosecutors leads to a better resolution and more efficient means of achieving those good results.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?A basic overview of the case procedure as well as the benefits of having quality representation.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?The location of the offense and prior history of the defendant, as well as a factual explanation of the events.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?I pride myself on clear communication and frequent updates to my clients to let them know their case is very important to me.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?The most rewarding aspect is hearing a grateful client explain how happy they are with the result of their case.
What are your other interests in addition to law?I love to read and I am obsessed with finding good new music (to buy, to stream, and to attend in concert).
Are you involved in your community?I am a happy member of the local YMCA and several youth-oriented programs with my family.
