About Lisa

Lisa J. Hamameh is a senior associate at Adkison, Need & Allen, P.L.L.C., where she practices primarily liquor licensing law, municipal law, zoning and land use, and Condominium and Homeowners' Association law.

Ms. Hamameh earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University; and is a graduate of Wayne State University Law School. Prior to joining Adkison, Need & Allen, P.L.L.C., Ms. Hamameh worked as a law clerk for three Judges in the 19th District Court.

Ms. Hamameh is a member of the Public Corporation Law Section and past Executive Council Member of the Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Michigan. She is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Arab-American Bar Association. Ms. Hamameh is a sustaining member of the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA); a Fellow of the Oakland County Bar Foundation; and a member of the Macomb County Bar Association. She currently serves as a Director on the New Lawyers Committee Council, a member of the Membership Committee, and has served as the Chair and Vice-Chair of the OCBA's Municipal Law Committee. Ms. Hamameh has participated as an Associate with the OCBA's Inn of Court Program from 2002-2005, and as a Barrister in 2006. She has also participated in the OCBA's Mentor Program, Speed Networking Event, Youth Law Conference, and past District Court Bench/Bar Conferences. Ms. Hamameh frequently attends New Lawyer Committee and Membership Committee functions, as well as OCBA Annual Meetings and Oakland County Bar Foundation Signature Events.

Ms. Hamameh currently serves as the Prosecutor for White Lake and Springfield Townships.  She conducts training sessions on various municipal topics for the firm's municipal clients, including training on zoning and land use issues, the Metro Act, municipal civil infractions, and criminal legal updates. Ms. Hamameh is a volunteer at Children's Hospital of Michigan and has been for over 12 years. For her work with Children's Hospital, she was honored by the Macomb County Board of Commissioners as a "2002 Volunteer of the Year" award recipient. She also frequently volunteers as a Judge for Wayne State University's First Year Moot Court Program; and often presents as a speaker at the White Lake Township Citizens Academy. Ms. Hamameh has served as a Judge for the Michigan Center for Civic Education High School Mock Trial Tournament; and recently coached a Youth in Government Team at Stoney Creek High School as they prepared for competitions in 2009.

Ms. Hamameh is a member of the National Association of Alcoholic Beverage Licensing Attorneys; the Associated Food & Petroleum Dealers; the Sterling Heights, Shelby, Utica Chamber of Commerce; and the American Arab Chamber of Commerce. She has served as President and Board Member of the Aberdeen Gardens Condominium Association.

In 2007, Ms. Hamameh worked with Lawyers for Lighthouse packing Thanksgiving baskets, and she participated in the 2007 and 2009 Michigan 3-Day Events, where she walked 60 miles in 3 days to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. She annually participates in the Race for a Cure, sponsored by Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  In 2009, Ms Hamameh volunteered with Habitat for Humanity during the construction of a home in Pontiac, MI.
