About Lisa

Lisa Klein has 20 years of experience counseling start-up, emerging growth and middle-market companies in corporate, securities and general business matters.  Ms. Klein frequently functions as outside general counsel for both publicly and privately held companies.  In that role, Ms. Klein provides advice on a broad range of complex legal and business issues confronting today's businesses, including SEC filings, public disclosure issues, business negotiations, strategic relationships, financing issues, intellectual property matters, corporate governance issues, executive compensation and employment matters.  She has extensive experience in both public and private offerings (representing both issuers and underwriters), acquisitions of both public and private companies, and corporate financings, including debt restructuring.  Ms. Klein counsels corporate clients on compliance with SEC reporting rules as well as corporate governance issues.

Ms. Klein has been a frequent speaker and writer on subjects of interest to business lawyers and is a past chairman of the Beverly Hills Bar Association Business Law Section. 

Ms. Klein received her J.D. in 1984 from UCLA and her B.A. degree from Northwestern University in political science with honors in 1981.  During law school, she served as an extern to the Honorable Richard J. Gadbois, in the Los Angeles District Court.

Ms. Klein resides in Pacific Palisades with her husband and two children.
