About Lisa
Lisa L. Ryan-Lindquist is a registered patent attorney and an associate of the firm.
Graduated from the University of Minnesota, Institute of Technology in 1986. As an undergraduate, she worked as an assistant for professors doing both research experiments in inorganic chemistry and developing experiments for undergraduate chemistry labs. From 1986 to 1987, she worked as an analytical chemist at the University of MN, Soil Testing Labs. From July, 1987 to February, 1999, Ms. Ryan-Lindquist was employed by the HB. Fuller Co. in St. Paul, MN, a worldwide manufacturer of adhesives, sealants and coatings. From 1987 to 1995 she worked as a chemist developing adhesives and coatings for various areas. During this time, Ms. Ryan-Lindquist was the inventor of US 5,747,573 and co inventor of US 5,387,623 and 5,741,840. Ms. Ryan-Lindquist took on the role of patent liaison at HB. Fuller in 1995, and in 1998, patent agent. In 1997, she graduated from William Mitchell College of Law (J.D., cum laude). She passed the Minnesota State Bar in 1997 and the patent agency exam in 1998. Ms. Ryan-Lindquist has been employed as a patent attorney with Vidas, Arrett & Steinkraus since February, 1999. Ms. Ryan-Lindquist's practice focuses on chemical practice and she has experience drafting and prosecuting cases for polymeric based compositions, especially thermoplastics, and including reactive polyurethane technology. Ms. Ryan-Lindquist has extensive experience in drafting and prosecution of patents in the medical device industry, including expandable medical balloon related technologies, coating technologies including lubricious coatings and coatings for controlled drug delivery, and drug delivery devices.
Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Ryan-Lindquist enjoys Arabian and National Show horses.
