At a young age, Michael J. Wyatt admired the attorneys in movies who represented “the little guy.” He went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts (Summa Cum Laude) from Washburn University in 2004 and a Juris Doctor (with honors) from Washburn University School of Law in 2007. He then started his career with the Wichita defense firm of Klenda, Mitchell, Austerman & Zuercher, LLC. Today, Mike is a partner at Mann Wyatt Tanksley Injury Attorneys Midwest Personal Injury Firm, a trial attorney, and an award-winning published author. He is passionate about helping clients in Kansas, Colorado, Missouri, and Oklahoma and has successfully settled and litigated many multi-million dollar cases. Mike focuses his practice on the law of negligence, including wrongful death, automobile, and trucking accidents, catastrophic injury, home, and work explosions, products liability, nursing home neglect, and premises liability. Mike is licensed in Kansas, Colorado, Missouri, and Oklahoma state and federal courts. He is a member of various bar associations, trial lawyer organizations, and has served on the executive board for the Kansas Trial Lawyer Association. Mike has been named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers list numerous times as well as their Top 40 Under 40. He has also received the distinguished AVVO perfect rating for client communication, responsiveness, effectiveness, and value. Mike has been named to the Rising Stars list published by Super Lawyers magazine and has been recognized by KC Magazine numerous times as one of Missouri and Kansas’ Top Attorneys and Outstanding Young Lawyers in personal injury law. Mike enjoys the opportunity to serve in his local church and on the boards of several non-profit organizations. Mike’s most notable accomplishment is his longtime marriage to his wife, Jamie. He is the proud father of three children.

After interning at Mann Wyatt Tanksley Injury Attorneys in 2013, Mason Lent was inspired to pursue a career as an attorney. Originally from Wichita, Mason graduated from the University of Kansas in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Business. He then attended the University of Kansas School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor in December 2016. During law school, Mason spent a summer as a legal intern for the Sedgwick County District Court. Additionally, he was involved in the Douglas County Legal Aid Society where he represented adults and juveniles charged with crimes in Douglas County. After graduating law school and passing the bar exam, Mason began his career as an attorney at the defense firm of Hite, Fanning & Honeyman, LLP in Wichita. At this firm, his practice focused on insurance defense in the areas of automobile accidents, premises liability and medical malpractice. Mason joined Mann Wyatt & Tanksley in November 2018 and focuses his practice on personal injury, automobile accidents and workers’ compensation. He is licensed to practice in Kansas state and federal court, Missouri state and federal court, and Colorado state and federal court. He is a member of the Kansas Bar Association and the Wichita Bar Association. In his free time, Mason enjoys watching the Kansas Jayhawks compete in basketball. More importantly, Mason is proudly married to his wife, Taylor, and they have four children.

Josh graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance in 2018. He then pursued his passion for law, attending the University of Missouri Kansas City, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2023. During his time in law school, Josh worked as a financial advisor at Mutual of Omaha Advisors, gaining valuable experience in the field. Having joined Mann Wyatt Tanksley Injury Attorneys as a summer intern in 2022, Josh's exceptional performance led to a full-time position upon graduating law school. His primary focus now lies in advocating for victims of sex and labor trafficking, handling class actions, personal injury cases, automobile accidents, and workers' compensation claims. Josh is licensed to practice in both Kansas state and federal court, and he is an esteemed member of the Kansas Bar Association and the Wichita Bar Association. His dedication to his clients and commitment to justice make him an invaluable asset to our firm. Beyond his professional achievements, Josh enjoys spending his free time indulging in his passions for hunting, fishing, and cheering on the Chiefs as they score touchdowns. Most importantly, he cherishes his role as a loving husband to his wife, Ashlyn, and a proud father to their son, Sawyer.
