About Lynette

Lynette Siragusa is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Massachusetts. Ms. Siragusa received her undergraduate degree from Northeastern University and her law degree from New England School of Law in 2000. Upon graduation, Ms. Siragusa worked at a mid-sized Boston law firm concentrating on business litigation, commercial real estate transactions, and business immigration.

Subsequently, Ms. Siragusa opened a successful solo practice in Boston, representing clients in real estate and civil litigation matters. Upon relocating to New Jersey in 2004, Ms. Siragusa spent five years working for Legal Services of New Jersey as a supervising attorney, representing clients in a wide variety of matters, including housing issues, public entitlements, housing and employment discrimination and social security disability.

Ms. Siragusa founded Siragusa Law Firm in 2011, where she focuses her practice on family law, social security disability, medical and legal malpractice.

How did you build a successful practice?

My success is based upon the hard work and compassion that I have provided to each of my clients.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

Clients should consider the attorney's experience and compassion. Clients should also be able to trust their attorney who is advocating in their best interests and the client must be able to communicate with their attorney freely. The client must be comfortable working with their attorney.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Working in New Jersey for over 16 years and having the local knowledge is important to all my cases.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

I usually provide the general procedure of a divorce and the available options.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

The office generally needs to know information the names of the parties for a conflicts check, the length of the marriage, if there are any children, if the children have any disabilities, employment of the parties, marital assets and types and amounts of debts.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

It is my goal to make myself easily accessible to all my clients. I provide all my clients with my cellphone in the event there is an emergency after hours or on the weekend. If there is a problem, I want to know and be able to assist immediately.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

I try to reach a resolution that is viable and in the best interest for my client.

Are you involved in your community?

I participate in the Rotary Club in Bridgewater and I also have been a volunteer with Hunterdon County Harvest Family Success for over 9 years.
