About Lynne

Lynne Saben has been an Associate Attorney at Phillips, Gerstein and Channen, LLP since July, 2000.  She is licensed to practice in law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and The State of New Hampshire.  A substantial amount of her practice is dedicated to Family Law, however, she is experienced in many other areas of the law such as probate administration, employment discrimination, landlord tenant issues, real estate, personal injury and general litigation.

 Ms. Saben has extensive experience in all areas of Family Law, including, but not limited to, Divorce, Custody, Child Support, Alimony, Distribution of Property, Modifications, Contempts and Adoptions.  She generally represents her clients from the initial client meeting and, if necessary, through the appeals process. In addition to her practice, she also serves the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by accepting reduced fee and pro bono clients and serving as a member of the Essex County Children's Law Project.

 Lynne Saben graduated with high honors from Northern Essex Community College with an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies.  Given the encouragement and support provided by the faculty at NECC, Ms. Saben transferred to Suffolk University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a Minor in Philosophy and recognized as an Archer Fellow Scholar.  Thereafter, she earned her law degree from the evening program at Suffolk Law while working full time for Hewlett Packard Company and John Hancock Insurance.

 Ms. Saben is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, New Hampshire Bar Association, Essex County Bar Association, Northern Essex Community College Alumni Advisory Board, Member of Girls' Inc. Board of Directors, Turning Point Human Rights Committee and she has assisted with the City of Haverhill's First Time Home-Buyer's Program.
