Malcolm B. Jacobson graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce, University of Pennsylvania, in 1970, where he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma, the national business school honorary fraternity. He graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1973, where he was Associate Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.

After his graduation from law school, Mr. Jacobson became employed by the New York firm of Davis, Polk & Wardwell and, thereafter, founded the law firm of Jacobson & Stern in Norristown, Pennsylvania, where he was responsible for a variety of transactional, real estate, corporate finance, business planning, estate planning and administration, and litigation matters.

In 1988, Mr. Jacobson became in-house general counsel for two related corporate groups in Philadelphia in the real estate industry and assumed full responsibility for the representation of limited partnerships in multi-million dollar financing transactions, as well as the representation of construction companies, brokerage firms, and other entities in planning transactional, securities, and contract negotiation matters.

Mr. Jacobson's practice is concentrated on the representation of publicly-held and closely-held companies and entrepreneurs in business planning and counseling matters, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, corporate finance, real estate development, and estate planning and administration.

Since 1989, Mr. Jacobson has been a Trustee of the Louis N. Cassett Foundation, a multi-million dollar charitable foundation established in 1946 which funds the activities of various charitable, scientific, literary, educational, and religious organizations.

Mr. Jacobson is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
