Marc Aoun, Attorney

Mr. Aoun is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Workers' Compensation Practice Group. He practices exclusively in the area of workers' compensation defense. Mr. Aoun handles all aspects of litigation, claims handling and appeals for self-insured and insured clients in defending workers' compensation cases. He litigates workers' compensation matters in all jurisdictions of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Aoun received his B.S. in Biology from the Pennsylvania State University in 2001 and his M.S. in Biology from the Shippensburg University in 2004. Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, Mr. Aoun received his J.D. from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, along with an International, Comparative, and Foreign Law Certificate.

Mr. Aoun was awarded the CALI Excellence For the Future Award for excellent achievement at the Penn State Dickinson Center for Applied Human Rights Research, where he worked for the World Organization for Human Rights USA. During law school, he represented clients at the Penn State Dickinson Family Law Clinic for which he was named a Certified Miller Public Interest Advocate, and represented his law school as a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Team in the 2007-2008 Washington, D.C. Moot Court Competition.  Additionally, he served as the vice president of the International Law Society and worked for a law firm with a focus in business and corporate defense litigation. Before and during law school, Mr. Aoun was an Adjunct Professor of Biology and instructed numerous college biology courses, including Anatomy and Physiology and General Biology.

Mr. Aoun also frequently writes articles on a variety of workers' compensation topics.
