Attorney Marc J. Chase earned his law degree at Hamline University in 1979 and devotes much of his practice to representing victims of medical malpractice. In addition to serving as a partner in his law firm, Marc is the Network Administrator responsible for selecting, purchasing and maintaining, all computer and communications equipment utilized by the firm. Marc has served on several advisory boards, such as the West Publishing Company CD-Rom Advisory Board and served as a beta-tester for various software products.

Marc initiated the formation of, and then served on, the tenant's committee at 20 Plaza Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York. While serving on this committee Marc was instrumental in negotiating the 100 unit building's transition to a cooperative, including securing financing for the purchasing shareholders. Subsequent to the building's becoming a cooperative, he filled a variety of offices, including Vice President of the Board of Directors of the 20 Plaza Housing Corp.

Marc was also the President of Oscawanna Management Corp, a position he held for four years. While serving in this position Marc spearheaded the transition in ownership from a corporation formed under the General Business Law to one under the Real Estate Law, as well as supervising tax challenges and modernization of this summer community.

Marc has done Pro Bono legal work for Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, assisting theaters, dance companies and other arts presenting organizations. A former resident of Flatbush for ten years, he belonged to the South Midwood Residents Association and served as the Chairman of the Legal Committee of Flatbush Development Corporation as well as its Vice President..

Marc has lectured at the Adelphi University Nursing School, various hospitals and to members of the Brooklyn Bar Association on issues involving health care and medical malpractice.
