About Marc
Marc grew up in an environment that was centered upon his father's small family business, which struggled over the years as larger conglomerates began encroaching on the small business markets. As a result, Marc not only developed a tremendous work ethic at an early age, but also acquired a kindred spirit to the "little guys."
After successful careers at UCLA and law school, Marc has taken the values he learned working with his father and the driving desire to champion the rights of the "little guys" and has put them to work in the legal field by representing seriously injured and financially damaged individuals and small businesses against the multinational corporations and insurance companies.
Marc joined the firm over twenty years ago and has always headed up the firm's case development efforts; coordinating investigation and development of initial handling and litigation strategies. Marc's efforts to assure that every case the firm handles is not only expertly, but expeditiously prepared, has often let to the discovery of important evidence which has made the difference in the case, which would have disappeared had he not worked so aggressively. Over the years, Marc has taken the negotiating skills he learned working in his family's business, refined and developed them to fit the legal arena and used them to achieve extraordinary results for the firm's clients.
Marc and his wife, Esther have two teenage daughters. As a family, the Katzmans have always been committed to active participation in non-profit, religious, and political organizations and have taught their children the virtues of community service. The family has participated in local programs to feed the homeless, fund raising activities for the Women's Care Cottage (a shelter and rehabilitation program for homeless women and children) and support Guide Dogs of America, a program that trains seeing eye dogs for the blind.
