About Margaret

Margaret G. Lodise graduated cum laude from Pomona College in 1985 and received her law degree in 1988 from the University of California at Los Angeles and her LLM in taxation from Loyola Law School in 2002. Meg is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Formerly of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and a partner of Ross, Sacks & Glazier, Meg specializes in estate, trust and conservatorship litigation, in addition to handling estate, trust and conservatorship administration. She has briefed and argued appellate issues concerning both estates and conservatorships as well as handling two large cases involving the malfeasance of professional conservators. Meg has served as an expert witness and regularly writes and speaks on estate and trust-related issues before both bar and community organizations including the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills Bar Associations, the Professional Fiduciary Association of California, California CEB, and the Practicing Law Institute. Meg is Vice-Chair of the Trusts and Estates Executive Committee of the State Bar of California. Meg is a past Chair of the Executive Committee of the Trust and Estate Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and is the former President of the Women Lawyers' Association of Los Angeles. Meg is on the Board of Trustees of Pomona College and currently serves as President of the Torchbearers' Board of Pomona College.
