Mark G. Crawford
Mark Crawford is a founding partner of Skikos, Crawford, Skikos, Joseph & Millican LLP, and practices out of the firm's San Francisco office. He has practiced law since 1988 primarily in the areas of pharmaceutical drug and medical device, insurance coverage and bad faith, and complex personal and financial injury litigations.
Mark has taken and continues to take prominent national roles in discovery and pre-trial work in mass tort pharmaceutical products liability coordinated litigations, including the Zyprexa, Baycol and MRI Contrast Agents mass tort litigations. He also heads the firm's Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith litigation practice, and handles a wide range of cases involving serious personal injury, elder abuse, commercial disputes, employment matters and class action work.
Mark has extensive experience in law and motion practice, discovery and appellate work. He has argued cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the California Courts of Appeal. He also has been looked to nationally to evaluate insurance coverage issues arising in mass tort pharmaceutical litigations involving tens of millions of dollars.
Mark received his law degree from the UCLA School of Law in Los Angeles in 1988, where he was an editor of the UCLA Law Review. Mark received his undergraduate degree from Haverford College in Pennsylvania in 1985.
Prior to the formation of the firm, Mark was a shareholder with Lopez, Hodes, Restaino, Milman & Skikos, where for eight years he practiced in the firm's mass tort group and handled complex insurance and commercial litigations. Prior to joining the Lopez, Hodes firm, Mark worked for several large California defense firms in the areas of insurance coverage and bad faith matters, complex commercial litigation and appeals.
Mark is a member of the State Bar of California, American Association for Justice (AAJ), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) and the San Francisco Bar Association.
