About Mark
As a trial attorney for 23 years, Mark has litigated hundreds of cases. Currently Mark's practice is focused in the areas of municipal liability and medical malpractice. He has a detailed knowledge of the Pennsylvania Tort Claims Act. Mark has also developed extensive experience in premises liability and automobile liability matters including UM and UIM issues. In addition to his admission to the Pennsylvania Bar, Mark is also admitted to practice in West Virginia, where he has handled matters involving general civil litigation to include medical malpractice.
In 1981 Mark received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh graduating magna cum laude. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, graduating in 1984. Following law school, Mark clerked for Judge William E. Breene of the Court of Common Pleas of Venango County. Mark then joined a defense litigation law firm in Washington, Pennsylvania first as an associate then as a partner and spent 11 years trying cases in the areas of medical malpractice and general auto liability. For a period of time prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Mark practiced law from a plaintiff's perspective and tried cases in the areas of medical malpractice, premises liability, and general auto liability.
