About Mark
Mark A. Sternlicht is a partner at Beaver Holt Sternlicht & Courie, PA, where he has practiced since returning to Fayetteville in 1985. He previously practiced with a litigation firm in Philadelphia, a Chapel Hill firm, and UNC Student Legal Services. His practice emphasizes personal injury and medical negligence claims and he has obtained excellent results for many clients in these areas. He has been selected to be included in "The Best Lawyers in America" personal injury section.
Mark graduated from the UNC School of Law in 1978, where he was a member of the North Carolina Law Review. He earned his undergraduate degree with honors at UNC in 1975, and was selected for membership in Phi Beta Kappa honor fraternity.
Mark is a member of the Cumberland County, North Carolina, and American Bar Associations, the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the American Trial Lawyers Association. He has taught at continuing legal education seminars for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers.
To serve his community, Mark has been an active member of boards of directors of Friends of the Parks, the American Red Cross, and the ACLU of North Carolina.
