About Mary
Mary A. Schopper, is an attorney with Due Doyle Fanning & Metzger in Indianapolis. Mary has concentrated her practice on worker's compensation and occupational diseases defense since 1991.
Mary graduated from the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, cum laude, in 1991. She received her B.A. in Political Science from Indiana University, Bloomington in 1983, where she was selected as an undergraduate teaching assistant, as well as a Congressional intern. She is admitted to practice before the Worker's Compensation Board of Indiana, as well as the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court.
Mary has frequently lectured and written on worker's compensation topics including case law updates, implementing return to work programs, nuts and bolts claims handling, affirmative defenses, medical causation issues, psychological injuries, and the statute of limitations.
Mary is a member of the Indiana State and Indianapolis Bar Associations. She is an active member of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana Worker's Compensation Section and the Indiana Worker's Compensation Institute.
