Ms. Brown received her Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Legal Jurisprudence from the University of Houston, in 1999. She was on the Dean's Honor List at South Texas College of Law, and Graduated Cum Laude from the University of Houston in 2002. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Brown worked as a respiratory therapist at the Texas Medical Center and in the surrounding area.
Ms. Brown is licensed to practice law in Texas and Oklahoma. Ms. Brown was admitted to the Texas State Bar (2002), U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas (2006), and Oklahoma Bar Association (2010). She is a member and former director of the Wichita County Bar Association and a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and, a 5 out of 5 star rating with the Better Business Bureau.
Her primary focus for over a decade concentrated on representing those seriously injured or killed as a result of medical malpractice and nursing home neglect, as well as representing the family members of loved ones who were killed on the job. Ms. Brown has also represented those seriously injured or killed as a result of negligent drivers, including drivers of big rigs.
Ms. Brown focuses on other types of litigation, including contested divorces, child custody, will contests, breach of contract, Deceptive Trade Practice claims, Unfair Debt Collection, property disputes, business litigation and consumer complaints. Ms Brown also assist her clients with simple estate planning, uncontested divorces, business formation, contact review and Preparation.
