About Matthew

Matt has called Northeast Ohio home for the last 17 years and has lived in Lorain County for the last 11 years.  After receiving his B.A. from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, Matt came to the Cleveland area to attend Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.  A practicing attorney since 1998, Matt spent the bulk of his legal career at a large general practice law firm in Lorain County.  In this position, he honed his legal skills in the areas of personal injury, real estate, probate and civil litigation.

Matt has been married to Stacey for 12 years.  Together, they have three great children.  Family is a priority for Matt and Stacey. They are heavily involved in their community through their local church, community sports programs and the local schools.

Matt is a member of the American Bar Association and the Lorain County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all State Courts in Ohio and the United States Federal Court in the Northern District of Ohio.

As the owner of Hallett Legal Group, Matt is committed to listening to his client’s needs and clearly explaining their options.
