Matthew L. Riggs, Attorney

Matt is a fifth generation Arizonan and is a graduate of Westwood High School in Mesa. While at Westwood, Matt earned his Eagle in scouting, was active in school government, quarterback of the varsity football team, and captain on the varsity basketball team. He received his Bachelor's degree in business and went on to graduate from the College of Law at Arizona State University, which continued a three-generation tradition of attorneys in his family after his father and grandfather before him.

Matt has devoted a significant portion of his life to volunteer work in his community and church, including several years with the Boy Scouts of America and serving a two-year mission in Oregon for his church. He is married to Dawna (South) Riggs and together they have six children. His favorite pastimes include spending time with his wife and children, as well as reading and playing a variety of sports.

Matt now focuses his legal practice in the areas of Plaintiff's Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Dog Bite/Attack, and Medical Negligence.

Matt is admitted to the State Bar of Arizona and to practice before the United States District Court, the Supreme Court of the State of Arizona, the Arizona Appeals Court, the Superior Court of Arizona (any county), and any and all other courts operated under Arizona law. He is also a member of both the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association.
