If the legal issue involved in a case is not specific to a local area, then local knowledge (other than having practiced in the courts of that jurisdiction and thus familiarity) is not important. We have handled cases throughout Pennsylvania. However, if the issue in a case is related to local ordinances or practice, local knowledge can be helpful. Skilled lawyers are well-equipped to research any issue which arises in a case and thus in that respect, local knowledge is not relevant.
