About Melissa

Melissa Golden is a legal assistant and firm administrator for Schreier Housewirth.   She has been with the firm since 2007 and she is centrally involved in each case.    Melissa provides information, reassurance and support to all of our divorce and custody clients as their cases progress from inception to conclusion.   Melissa also helps clients prepare important case documents such as inventories of marital assets and answers to family law discovery.  As our Fort Worth divorce and custody practice grows, Melissa Golden is a key member of our team and she helps us keep our commitment to provide our clients the comprehensive representation they demand.

Melissa studied Psychology at Panola College while working for the Panola County District Attorney's office as part of a school/work program.  That is where she gained knowledge in felony prosecution and it was at that time she discovered she wanted to have a career in Law.  She later completed her paralegal studies at the University of North Texas.

Most recently, Melissa completed training in basic and family case mediation and is qualified to mediate family cases in Texas. She is currently accepting mediation referrals in Tarrant, Parker and Hood counties.  She has dedicated her divorce and custody mediation practice to assisting clients who otherwise may not be able to resolve their issues due to the high cost of litigation.

Melissa lives in Parker County, Texas with her husband and four children.
