About Michael
Michael has been practicing law since 1998.
Raised in Indiana, Michael earned a B.A. from Indiana University in 1995, where he majored in Political Science and Native American Studies. He earned his law degree from the University of Tulsa in 1998. After graduating from the University of Tulsa, Michael served our country for eight years as an Air Force attorney (JAG) in Wyoming, Colorado, and Texas. There he defended and prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases, both as a JAG and a Special Assistant United States Attorney.
Michael is licensed to practice law in Colorado and in all military courts. He received several awards and medals during his tour in the Military including the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal. He is the current president of the Delta Bar Association.
He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association (CBA), Grace Community Church, Colorado Plateau Mountain Biker’s Association (COPMOBA), and Delta Area Mountain Biker’s Association (DAMB).
In 2005, Michael and his wife, Danielle, moved to Colorado where they settled in Delta to raise their daughter. Michael enjoys skiing, mountain and road biking, mountaineering, rock climbing, golfing and many other outdoor activities.
