$4,000,000.00 – FOUR MILLION DOLLAR JUDGMENT FOR VICTIM OF ROLL OVER ACCIDENT

2.5 MILLION DOLLAR SETTLEMENT FOR WRONGFUL DEATH OF A ONE YEAR OLD BOY

A confidential, out of state settlement was reached in a midwest state, for a wrongful death action brought on behalf of the parents of a one year old boy. Details of this loss cannot be disclosed due to a confidentiality agreement. The family suffered an unimaginable loss at the hands of a negligent party and while no money can ever bring back their beloved son, they were able to obtain an acknowledgment of wrongdoing, some small level of justice, and have now gone on to turn this tragedy into a way to help thousands of other children in need. While we cannot disclose who they are or what they have been through, we can quietly applaud and honor them for the contribution they are making to their community and to thousands of sick and injured children all over the United States.

2 MILLION DOLLAR RECOVERY FOR WRONGFUL DEATH OF TWO MEN IN MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT – MID EAST STATE

One family suffered unimaginable loss when a man and his son-in-law were both killed in an accident when a large SUV slammed into the back of their motorcycles, sitting side by side at a stop light. It was the site of an horrific crash, when the defendant driver failed to observe traffic was stopped ahead of him and he struck the rear of the motorcycles sitting abreast of one another at an estimated speed of approximately 45 MPH. Both were pronounced deceased shortly after transport to a local hospital. The men left behind wives, children, grandchildren and siblings. Both the cause of the accident and the amount of monetary loss surrounding the death of these men were heavily disputed by the insurance companies representing the Defendant in these cases. During an out of state mediation, the Florida wrongful death attorneys at Politis & Matovina were successful in obtaining a fair and reasonable recovery for the families left behind.
