About Michael
Mr. Rausch is counsel in the Litigation Department with experience in handling a wide variety of cases. He defends large corporations and insurers in complex products liability and negligence lawsuits. He also coordinates and conducts the defense of Porsche Cars North America, Inc. and Hyundai Motor America in warranty and consumer fraud litigation.
Mr. Rausch has defended personal injury cases involving agricultural tractors, industrial machinery, and athletic equipment. Over the course of his career, Mr. Rausch has also represented firearms/airgun manufacturers and major automobile manufacturers in product liability lawsuits involving catastrophic injuries.
Mr. Rausch received his B.A. from The College of William and Mary in 1986. In the five years between his undergraduate studies and law school, Mr. Rausch served as a Special Agent for the United States Department of State where he performed various security functions in middle eastern and eastern European posts. He received his J.D. from William and Mary in 1994. Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Mr. Rausch is also admitted to appear before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He has been invited to speak to automobile manufacturer's representatives on the issues of state Lemon Law and federal warranty law.
