About Michael

Michael L. Schuster concentrates his practice on bankruptcy. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schuster was an associate at Kluger, Perez, Kaplan & Berlin, P.L., where he represented clients in all phases of insolvency, debt restructuring, reorganization and liquidation matters including Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings, adversary proceedings, assignments for the benefit of creditors and out-of-court workouts. 

Mr. Schuster is an active member of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida and the American Bar Association. 

Mr. Schuster is a member of the Florida Bar and has been admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern and Middle Districts of Florida . He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While attending law school, Mr. Schuster was president of the Moot Court Board, the regional champion and national quarter-finalist of the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition, and was selected for membership in the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barristers.  He was also inducted into Florida Blue Key and Omicron Delta Kappa. Mr. Schuster earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology, cum laude, from the University of Florida College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, where he served on the student government as Student Senator and Judiciary Committee Vice-Chair.
