How did you build a successful practice?
When I started my own law practice in 1979, my goal was to be the best lawyer I could be by being honest, knowledgeable, friendly and caring to clients, immigration officials, judges and fellow lawyers. I achieved that goal and have imparted those values to my staff and to my son Evan who is my law partner. We have worked together for over 10 years and really enjoy what we do. We have a small boutique immigration law firm with 12 employees. We feel it is just the right size to handle all immigration matters while giving excellent personal service to our clients.

Honesty, Integrity, recommendations, reputation, specializing in one field, Board Certification in the field.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Somewhat important.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
We charge for consultations by telephone or Skype.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
I cannot speak for other lawyers, but I am confident that when we get retained by an individual or company to pursue an immigration matter, that individual or business will get the undivided attention of the attorney and paralegal assigned to the case. That is what the client is paying for.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Helping people work and live legally in the United States, reuniting families, helping employers navigate confusing and cumbersome immigration regulations.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
Family, sports.
