About Michael
During his early law school career, Mr. Urbina worked for several in-house legal departments with international corporations such as The Coca-Cola Company, Invesco Limited, Crawford & Company, and Kemira Chemicals as he had the intention to become an in-house corporate lawyer. However, after an opportunity to work with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA) for the Department of Homeland Security, he developed a strong interest in immigration and saw the need for representation in the immigrant community.
In 2013, after working a few years at another local firm, Mr. Urbina founded The Urbina Law Firm, LLC. Since its inception, Mr. Urbina was adamant that he wanted to do things different in the service the firm would offer to the community. The firm strives in being a friendly service provider, being efficient, and most importantly being honest with everyone whom they come in contact. Since 2013, Mr. Urbina has been recognized as an outstanding lawyer in his practice area by numerous groups including Georgia Trend, made hundreds of speaking appearances for the community, has been a guest in multiple media and radio shows, and started a unique service through social media to provide individuals with a personalized communication experience with the firm through private messages and engaging informative videos.
Mr. Urbina has been heavily involved with the community since he was a teenager even being the founder of a youth leadership program for a local non-profit. He truly has a passion for engaging and serving his community. During his free time, Mr. Urbina enjoys traveling, playing basketball at a local recreational league, and spending time with his family.
