Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

I have worked on many cases that I am proud of. However, last year I successfully had a client released from federal prison and returned home during the pandemic where he was able to care for his health and spend time with his elderly father.

How did you build a successful practice?

By building a strong reputation for professionalism, compassion, knowledge, and success.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

A lawyer should be compassionate, care about your case and the law, and be willing to build your case by getting to know all of the facts and relevant law.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Local knowledge is important because every judge has their own rules and each courthouse has its own procedures. It is also important to have knowledge of the local culture.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

I can advise the client on whether I can accept the case or not.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

I would need the client's goal, history of the case, if any, and if there are any other parties involved and their names.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

I have a deep passion for the law and for my profession. My passion and love for my field shows in my work. I also have a deep desire in making a difference in my society, which is reflected through my work.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

I truly enjoy assisting my clients in reaching their goals, whether its stabilizing the future of their children, of setting a new future for themselves, planning their business or estate, or finding creative solutions for their business or immigration situation.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

In my free time, I love to spend time in the ocean, read, and take runs.

Are you involved in your community?

Yes I am. I an active board member of AILA (American Immigration Lawyer's Association) in the Puerto Rico chapter and am a member of the Central Florida chapter.
