About Mike

Mike Russo graduated from Texas A&M University in 2001. Following his graduation, Mike was accepted at South Texas College of Law and graduated in 2004.

Mike began his legal career with the Harris County District Attorney's Office as a legal intern from 2002 through 2004. At the Harris County District Attorney's Office, Mike molded his trial techniques from the most experienced prosecutors in the state of Texas.

Upon graduating from law school in 2004, Mike began working with the Galveston County District Attorney's Office. In his first year with the District Attorney's Office, Mike successfully tried numerous misdemeanors cases, including Driving While Intoxicated and Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Mike was promoted to the Family Division, where he handled juvenile cases, including possession of controlled substances, motions to revoke probation, and First Degree Murder. In 2006, he was again promoted to the Felony Division. As a Felony Prosecutor, Mike handled all types of felony cases, ranging from drugs, aggravated assault, felony DWIs, motions to revoke probation, forgeries, credit card abuse, failure to register as a sex offender, and sexual assaults. Mike was a member of the Texas District and County Attorney's Association for two years and has attended several seminars dealing with criminal trial advocacy and the law.

Mike left the Galveston County District Attorney's Office to enter into private practice in May of 2007.

Mike has tried numerous cases and has years of trial experience as a trial attorney. Mike will use all of his knowledge and resources in the legal community to fight for the rights of his client and will place his client's interest above all.
