About Miles
Attorney Miles Cary has built an incredibly successful career on helping others. But his dedication to the members of our community does not stop when he leaves the office. In fact, he’s often just getting started.
Raised on Charleston, West Virginia’s West Side, Miles graduated from Capital High School in 1997. He went on to attend West Virginia State University, where he was elected Freshman Class President, Sophomore Class President, Mr. West Virginia State and Student Body President. He was also awarded the National Outstanding College Brother of the Year from Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. After graduating from WVSU summa cum laude, he received his JD from West Virginia University College of Law, where he was president of the Student Bar Association.
After graduation, Miles worked extensively in the fields of Social Security and Veterans benefits law, and proudly served his country for four years, as Platoon Leader- 19th AG Company, Seoul, South Korea; and then as Staff Officer -82D Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
