Our client, Jesus Moreno, was hit and run over by a City of Detroit bus while riding his motorcycle and suffered the loss of his dominant (right) hand and a traumatic brain injury. The loss of his hand cost him his career as a graphic designer and significantly impacted his ability to compete as a high level triathlete. Jesus also suffered a brain injury causing him to completely lose his senses of taste and smell in addition to having trouble hearing, seeing and speaking. Michael J. Morse grew up in suburban metro Detroit with his father Joel, a solo lawyer, and his mother Sue, a retired school librarian. After the sudden 1990 death of his father, Mike became determined to finish law school and carry on his father’s legacy of helping people. Thus, the Mike Morse Law Firm was born.
