Murray L. Bristol started this firm in order to provide quality representationfor individuals and small companies for serious legal problems that they haveencountered. Previously, Bristol prosecuted felonies as an Assistant DistrictAttorney for the 34th Judicial District Attorney's office. During his time as anAssistant District Attorney, he argued more than 100 hearings before the Courtand tried over 40 criminal trials resulting in 17 life sentences.

After leaving the District Attorney's Office, Bristol worked for a prominentlaw firm with offices in Dallas and Tulsa. One of the former partners of thisfirm became Governor of Oklahoma. While an attorney for this firm, Bristollitigated all types of cases from simple contract disputes to serious injury anddeath cases involving multi-state liability against national corporations.During this time frame, Bristol further developed his litigation and trialskills and learned what is necessary to prevail in the sometimes political andpowerful judicial system.

Many of Bristol's high profile cases have been followed by local and nationalnews medias such as the USA Today, Sport's Illustrated, The Dallas Morning News,and the El Paso Times. Bristol has further been interviewed about his cases byABC News with Peter Jennings, Dateline NBC and The Wall Street Journal.

Bristol is licensed to practice in all State Courts in Texas and Oklahoma, aswell as in the United States District Courts in the Northern and WesternDistricts of Texas and the Eastern, Northern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma.

Bristol earned a bachelor of business administration degree in finance andentrepreneurship from Baylor University where he was honored by being named tothe Dean's List. He received his juris doctorate from The University of TulsaCollege of Law where he was a member of the Energy Law Journal, Phi Delta Philegal fraternity, and was listed on the Dean's Honor Roll. He also attendedSouthern Methodist University School of Law and studied British Constitutionaland European Economic Community Law at The University of Oxford, Queen's Collegein England.

Bristol is very involved in the legal community and is currently a member ofthe Travis County Bar Association, Dallas County Bar Association, North DallasBar Association (Director: 1999-2000), State Bar of Texas, Oklahoma BarAssociation, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Texas Trial LawyersAssociation, and Association of Trial Lawyers of America. When Bristol lived inOklahoma, he was a member of the Tulsa County Bar Association, Oklahoma TrialLawyers Association and a Charter member of the Tulsa County Criminal DefenseAssociation. Bristol further donates his legal time to represent indigentfamilies on a pro bono basis through the Dallas Volunteer Attorneys Program.

Bristol primarily practices in the areas of personal injury, auto and truckaccidents, nursing home negligence, wrongful death, criminal defense, fraud,breach of contract, and products liability with an emphasis on trial law.
