Commencing in 1970, he was employed as a Deputy District Attorney for the Los Angeles County District  attorneys office.  Thereafter he partnered with attorney Robert Kardashian for three years doing criminal and some civil work. He then established  his own law firm in 1977 located in Los Angeles.
