Neelu K. Khanuja, Esq. is the Managing Partner of Khanuja Law, a California Workers’ Compensation Law Firm that Puts People First. Ms. Khanuja graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Economics, receiving Dean’s List recognition.

Thereafter, she obtained her Juris Doctor from a tier 1 law school in Arizona, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. During law school, Ms. Khanuja worked as a law clerk to a Superior Court Judge in family court and criminal court.

She zealously advocates for injured workers and/or aggressively defends employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in all areas of California state Workers’ Compensation Law.

Ms. Khanuja previously worked at the largest California workers’ compensation defense firm in the state and a local Applicant’s attorney firm. For the injured worker, Ms. Khanuja has successfully secured six-digit settlements.

On behalf of the defendants, she has won “take nothing” Awards at Trial and reached settlements for 0% permanent disability via Stipulated Award.

Additionally, Ms. Khanuja has vast experience in resolving liens of record, resulting in a withdrawal of the outstanding balance of the lien.

In Labor and Employment Law, Ms. Khanuja is a dedicated advocate for aggrieved employees with workplace violations under state and federal wage and hour laws and discrimination, harassment and/or retaliation claims under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act. Ms. Khanuja has prior experience working at a plaintiff’s firm specializing in Labor and Employment Law.

Outside of the office, Ms. Khanuja is a Co-Founder of and currently serves as a Board Member to a non-profit organization, 5 Rivers Foundation. As a Board Member, she is involved in awarding college scholarships and providing financial support for SAT/ACT preparation courses to students who are motivated to pursue higher education.

To date, 5 Rivers Foundation has awarded over 100 scholarships and provided SAT/ACT preparation courses to over 173 students nationwide.
