Mr. Connor D. Deverell earned his bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in French from the College of Charleston in 2009. He went on to receive his J.D., cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2012. While in law school, he served on the editorial board for the Loyola Law Review, and published the case note, “Defining A Corporation's ‘Principal Place Of Business’: The United States Supreme Court's Decision In Hertz Corp. V. Friend.” Mr. Deverell participated in numerous legal internships and volunteer activities, both in college and in law school. Michael Rose has spent his entire career representing accident victims. Mr. Benno is an appellate and constitutional law attorney. He began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where he served in both the trial division and the appeals bureau. Upon leaving government service, Mr. Benno worked at a premier civil litigation law firm where he focused on civil rights matters in both state and federal courts. In 2009, Mr. Benno opened his own law practice. Mr. Benno is admitted to the New York and Connecticut state bars, and is admitted to practice in the federal courts of the Southern, Eastern, Northern, and Western Districts of New York as well as the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second and Third Circuit. Hendrick Vandamme is a partner of the Firm. He was born in former Czechoslovakia and has the distinction of having participated in the demonstrations dubbed the Velvet Revolution which ended 40 years of Communist oppression and foresaw the normalization of relationships between East and West. After leaving Prague, he lived and worked in Germany, Belgium, and England. He is fluent in Czech, German, and French. Before forming Vandamme Law Firm, his work experience encompassed practice with a securities litigation boutique firm and with a major North American insurance company as the attorney of record and trial counsel. Hendrick successfully handled a number of jury trials and has conducted numerous mediations and arbitrations on behalf of his clients. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Essex University in England and his law degree from Fordham University Law School.
