Christopher M. Lynch has been a practicing attorney since January of 2011. In that time he has zealously advocated for his clients and has guided them through the often confusing and complex world of the law, including obtaining substantial settlements for personal injury clients, taking the steps to evict problem tenants, guiding first-time home buyers and sellers from contract through closing, reducing the property tax burden on tax grievance clients, obtaining refunds for clients whose property taxes were improperly raised, vacating judgments entered against clients' properties, and preventing a client's home from being lost to foreclosure.

David stayed on to become a full time Associate Attorney after he graduated. Having tried an assortment of different personal injury cases, David knows from start to finish what it takes to get the result his clients deserve. As the head of the firm’s small class action litigation department, David was lead counsel for a class of over 34,000 people against Stewart’s Shops, which resulted in financial compensation to every class member. David is actively engaged in pursuing compensation for victims of timber theft where he has several trial victories and multiple favorable appellate decisions on the topic, including an appellate decision increasing a $12,000 monetary award to $124,000. David is also very active in the local Rugby community in and around the Capital District. David was introduced to Rugby at Albany Law School. In his second year, David became the Vice-President of the team and eventually became President of the team his third year. While in law school, David became one of the founding members of the Albany Bootleggers, a local social rugby club named after one of E. Stewart Jones’ most famous defense clients, Jack ‘Legs’ Diamond. The Albany Bootleggers not only play rugby but concentrate on fraternity and charity, adopting families in need during the holiday season so nobody has to go without, holding annual cancer research fundraising events and holding fundraising events for wounded veterans. Besides Rugby, David otherwise spends a considerable amount of time with his blind rescue dog Betsy and her brother Murray.

Mr. Connor D. Deverell earned his bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in French from the College of Charleston in 2009. He went on to receive his J.D., cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2012. While in law school, he served on the editorial board for the Loyola Law Review, and published the case note, “Defining A Corporation's ‘Principal Place Of Business’: The United States Supreme Court's Decision In Hertz Corp. V. Friend.” Mr. Deverell participated in numerous legal internships and volunteer activities, both in college and in law school. While studying abroad in Australia, he assisted refugees in obtaining residency and work visas as a volunteer for C.A.S.E. Law Firm for Refugees. As a law clerk for a legal services organization, he aided the homeless in securing public assistance. He also interned at a national healthcare law firm and a public defender’s office before becoming a project attorney at an international law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Deverell was an associate attorney for a disability and personal injury law firm prior to joining Disability Justice. He advocated for clients’ Social Security disability benefits in more than 900 hearings before administrative law judges..

Bridget Tartaglia is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Ms. Tartaglia received her Juris Doctor with honors from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1995. While attending Touro, Ms. Tartaglia was one of the founding members and the Research Editor of the Environmental Law Journal. Ms. Tartaglia was instrumental in publishing the first edition to the Law Journal in 1995. She also received numerous academic honors during her tenure at Touro, including a Community Service Award and the American Jurisprudence Aware of Excellence in Creditor’s Rights. She was active and integral member of the Columbian Lawyers Association where she served as President. She also served as intern for the Honorable Howard Levitt of the Supreme Court, State of New York, County of Nassau. Ms. Tartaglia was also recipient of two academic scholarships from the Columbian Lawyer’s Association while attending Touro. While attending her last year at Touro, Ms. Tartaglia was a law clerk at Jakubowski, Robertson & Goldsmith. After graduating from Touro, Ms. Tartaglia became an associate attorney with said firm and later became a member of said firm. Ms. Tartaglia was admitted to Practice in the State of New York, Second Department in January, 1996. She was admitted to Practice in the State of Connecticut in November, 1995. She was admitted to Practice in the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York in March, 1996. She was most recently admitted to Practice in the Supreme Court of the United States America in March, 2005. Ms. Tartaglia has engaged in the general practice of law with an emphasis in Matrimonial and Family litigation. Since 1996, she has had substantial experience in litigating all issues relative to Matrimonial and Family Law matters. Ms. Tartaglia has litigated almost every possible issue that may arise between divorcing and non married parties. In addition to Matrimonial and Family Law litigation, Ms. Tartaglia also substantial experience in performing residential real property closings, representing both purchasers and sellers as well as experience in general civil litigation. Ms. Tartaglia is has been a youth basketball coach for Infant Jesus Church CYO program in Port Jefferson, NY for the past 9 years. She has spent countless hours each season coaching up to two different teams. Ms. Tartaglia was a division I college athlete where she played basketball at Brooklyn College. In addition, Ms. Tartaglia has worked on the fundraising committee for Mount Sinai Youth Soccer for the past 5 years where has volunteers time to raise money for a local soccer organization. Since 2013, Mrs. Tartaglia has been a Catechist for St Louis De Monfort Church in Sound Beach, NY where she has and continues to volunteer her time each week to teach two different religion classes each year. She is also a team leader for the Mount Sinai Neighborhood Watch for which she acts a liason for members of her community. In addition to work in her community, she also is a volunteer with the Suffolk County Bar Association pro bono foundation. She is a longtime resident of Mount Sinai where she resides with her husband and two sons.

Martin Garbus has a diverse practice that consists of individuals and companies involved in politics, media, entertainment, and the arts. His courtroom skills have earned him a distinguished reputation as a trial lawyer. Mr. Garbus is experienced in every aspect of litigation and trial, from jury selection to cross-examination to summation. He has argued cases throughout the country involving constitutional, criminal, copyright, and intellectual property law. He has appeared before the United States Supreme Court, as well as trial and appellate courts throughout the United States. He has argued and written briefs that have been submitted to the United States Supreme Court; a number of which have resulted in changes in the law on a nationwide basis, including one described by Justice William Brennan as "probably the most important due process case in the Twentieth Century." An international observer in foreign elections, he was selected by President Jimmy Carter to observe and report on the elections in Venezuela and Nicaragua. Mr. Garbus also participated in drafting several constitutions and foreign laws, including the Czechoslovak constitution. He also has been involved in prisoner exchange negotiations between governments. He is the author of six books and over 30 articles in The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times. Mr. Garbus is featured in Shouting Fire, an award-winning documentary film about his life and career. He received the Fulbright Award for his work on International Human Rights in 2010. In 2014, University College Dublin's' Literary and Historical Society honored Mr. Garbus with the James Joyce Award for Excellence in Law, which is also the same year Trinity College awarded him for his human rights and free speech work. Mr. Garbus has also taught trial practice at Yale Law School and Constitutional law at Columbia. He has also taught classes in Beijing, China, and Prague, Czech Republic. He has lived and practiced in China and Italy as well as the United States. He authored six books and numerous articles that have appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times and numerous legal publications. Mr. Garbus has given hundreds of speeches on various aspects of law before Bar Associations, corporations, law schools, and on CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, and other television and radio networks.
