About Nicole
Nicole Whittington is an associate in the Commercial Litigation Department. She represents individuals, privately held and public companies in a wide variety of complex litigations.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Whittington served as judicial intern to the Honorable Milton L. Wright Jr. of the Massachusetts District Court. She also worked in the Corporate In-House Office of Verizon-New England Inc. where she handled a variety of tax, tort, regulatory, and employment matters for the corporation.
Ms. Whittington is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is also admitted to appear before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
In addition to her work as an attorney, Ms. Whittington is deeply committed to serving the community. She serves on the boards of the National Urban League, the West Philadelphia Cultural Alliance (The Paul Robeson House), and the Philadelphia Chapter of the Boston College Alumni Association. Ms. Whittington is also an active member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Barristers' Association of Philadelphia, Inc., and the Lawyers' Club of Philadelphia.
Ms. Whittington is a graduate of Boston College Law School and received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) from Cornell University.
