About P. Daniel
Mr. Altland has been providing comprehensive legal services to individuals, businesses and local governments throughout Central Pennsylvania for over 30 years.
He concentrates his practice in real estate, title insurance, small business, estate planning and administration, municipal law and education law. By narrowing the focus of his practice Mr. Altland was able to open his office as a sole practitioner in November of 2010. He continues to provide prompt, quality legal services to his clients with personal attention, but at a more affordable cost.
Mr. Altland is a graduate of Shippensburg University and The Dickinson School of Law. He was admitted to practice before Pennsylvania courts in 1977 and is admitted to practice in the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of the U.S. District Courts of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Altland serves as the Solicitor for Susquenita School District, Littlestown Area School District, Dauphin County Technical School, Marysville Borough, Arendtsville Borough, Lewisberry Borough, Newberry Township Municipal Authority, Lewisberry Area Joint Authority and West Hanover Township Zoning Hearing Board.
Mr. Altland is a licensed Title Agent under Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.
In addition to the Dauphin County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, Mr. Altland is a member of the Pennsylvania Borough Solicitors Association, the National School Board Association Council of School Attorneys and The Pennsylvania School Board Solicitors Association.
