David P. Slater has over 30 years of litigation and general practice experience and handles all accident cases from investigation through trial, including motor vehicle, slip and fall, construction and wrongful death. He is experienced in all real estate and landlord and tenant matters, collections, business practices and probate. Ms. Bentley is an attorney with Gordon and Partners class action team and litigates consumer protection cases and complex consumer fraud class action cases. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bentley prosecuted violations of the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act as an Assistant Attorney General in the Consumer Protection Division of the Florida Attorney General’s Office. Before serving as an Assistant Attorney General, Ms. Bentley was the Senior Staff Attorney of the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc.’s Consumer Advocacy Unit, where she protected the rights of disadvantaged members of the community and represented indigent consumers who were wronged by businesses and fraudsters. Ms. Bentley is a Co-Chair of the Florida Bar’s Consumer Protection Law Committee’s Legislative Subcommittee and serves on the Board of Directors of the Young Lawyers Section of the Palm Beach County Bar Association. She is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates and a scholar of the National Consumer Law Center. Ms. Bentley earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University and Juris Doctor from Florida International University School of Law.

John M. Jorgensen is a fourth generation Floridian, who earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1982 from the University of Florida. Mr. Jorgensen joined Scott, Harris in 1982, and became a shareholder in 1992. He is currently the President and managing shareholder of the firm. He practices in the areas of civil litigation and trials, with emphasis on real property and business disputes, construction and land use litigation, landlord-tenant both commercial and residential, foreclosures, contract disputes, and appellate practice. He has over 40 years of civil litigation and trial experience, all of them with Scott/Harris. Mr. Jorgensen is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and represents clients in both state and federal courts throughout south Florida. He has done well over 100 civil trials in his career. Mr. Jorgensen has served as President of the North County Section of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and was also a member of the Association’s Board of Directors. He also served as chair of the Palm Beach County Land Use Advisory Board. He has received the highest AV rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

S. Brian Bull attended the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science in 1996. He graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2000. While in Gainesville, Mr. Bull served as Editor-In-Chief of the Florida Journal of International Law. He has been a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity since 1993 and the Golden Key National Honor Society since 1994. Mr. Bull was inducted into the Florida Blue Key Leadership Society in 2000. Mr. Bull joined Scott, Harris, Bryan, Barra & Jorgensen, P.A. in 2000 and became a shareholder in 2007. He practices in the areas of commercial litigation and civil trials.
