About Patrick

Patrick M. McKenna joined the firm in April 2004, and has been a resident of Chester County for more than 25 years. Patrick concentrates his practice in the areas of municipal law, land use, real estate and business litigation. Patrick represents numerous municipalities in Chester County, as well as private land owners and developers in land use matters. Mr. McKenna also has extensive experience in all aspects of business litigation, including defending claims by Transport International Pool, Inc. and Court Square Leasing. 

Patrick received his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Saint Joseph's University, where he was a member of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society. He received his law degree, cum laude, from Widener University School of Law, where he was a Josiah Oliver Wolcott Fellow, serving as a law clerk to Delaware Supreme Court Justice Joseph T. Walsh. While at Widener Law, Patrick also served as an Executive Board Member of the Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Honor Society, an Academic Fellow, and achieved Dean's Honors List recognition.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McKenna served as the law clerk to the Hon. Judge Anthony A. Sarcione of the Court of Common Pleas of Chester County and as an associate attorney in the insurance defense firm of McKissock & Hoffman. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Safe Harbor of Greater West Chester as its Secretary, as well as the Board of Directors of the Chester County Bar Association and the Board of Directors of the Beacon Hill Homeowners' Association. In addition, Patrick is the President-Elect and Program Director for the Hon. John E. Stively, Jr. American Inn of Court and an Assistant Editor to the Chester County Legal Reporter.
