About Paul
PAUL F. MILLUS is a partner at SKH&M concentrating in the areas of labor and employment representing employers, commercial litigation and municipal defense. Mr. Millus was a former Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York from 1987 through 1989. He joined the firm of Snitow & Pauley in 1989 and became a partner in SKH&M's predecessor firm of Snitow & Cunningham LLP in 1998. Mr. Millus has extensive litigation experience in State and Federal courts from the inception of the litigation through trial and appellate work. Mr. Millus regularly provides advice to employers and employees concerning their rights and obligations in the workplace including consultation on employee handbooks, discrimination policies, FMLA, FLSA, employment contracts, wage and hour concerns and all manner of workplace issues.
In addition to his private clients, Mr. Millus has represented many municipalities on Long Island including the Towns of Brookhaven, Hempstead, and North Hempstead, the City of Long Beach, and the Counties of Nassau and Suffolk. Mr. Millus lectures regularly on cutting edge issues affecting the Bar focusing on employment law, federal practice and civil rights law. He is the Former Chair of the Federal Courts Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, a member of the Executive Board of the Theodore Roosevelt American Inn of Court and a member of the Eastern District Association of former Assistant and Special Assistant U.S. Attorneys. Mr. Millus is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Touro Law Center.
Mr. Millus is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Minnesota, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey, and the District of Minnesota, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits. He resides in Nassau County, New York.
