About Paul
Paul V. Tatlow joined Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin in 1989 and is currently a shareholder and a member of the Workers' Compensation Department. Paul has extensive experience in litigating all types of workers' compensation claims on behalf of insurance carriers, as well as self-insured employers, at both the trial and appellate levels. For many years, he has litigated workers' compensation in Pennsylvania; in 2008, he started practicing it in Delaware, as well.
Paul has handled several hundred workers' compensation cases, including injury claims, occupational disease claims, specific loss claims, permanency claims, and also a number of cases involving complex subrogation issues. He has represented a variety of employers, including hospitals, nursing homes, manufacturers, as well as small business establishments.
He has utilized testimony from numerous medical experts in a variety of fields, and also from vocational experts.
Paul is a graduate of St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, New Jersey. Following graduation, he began working with a small Philadelphia firm that had primarily a litigation practice representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He then joined a mid-sized firm, where he spent three years doing insurance defense litigation with an emphasis on workers' compensation.
Paul has addressed various groups, such as the Workers' Compensation Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and written articles for organizations such as the Pennsylvania Defense Institute. For many years, Paul has been one of the authors of the firm's monthly workers' compensation newsletter featuring case law updates. Additionally, for a number of years, he participated in updating A.M. Best's Directory of Recommended Insurance Attorneys and Adjusters Insurance Law Digest in the area of workers' compensation.
