Divorce & Family Law, Estate

“Life is not always going to unfold as you planned. When life changes for you, we can help plan for your future.” Alicia Reiff is passionate about helping families and individuals of all ages efficiently resolve their legal matters, so they can confidently move forward with their lives. Her value as a legal advocate goes beyond her experience and knowledge of Pennsylvania family law. It’s the relationships and rapport that she builds with her clients that strengthen their peace of mind, knowing that with her guidance, they are making informed decisions about their future. Alicia is uniquely qualified to help her clients when emotions run high. Prior to earning her Juris Doctor from the Kline School of Law at Drexel University, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. This degree has given Alicia a unique perspective as a legal advocate; she understands how to set realistic expectations and respond appropriately and effectively to highly emotional situations. Her approach is effective in all areas of family law, including equitable distribution, high asset divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, marital agreements, and protection from abuse. When her clients need continuing support after their case has resolved, Alicia can offer a helping hand by referring them to counselors, financial planners, and other professional support. Prior to joining Petrelli Previtera, Alicia ran a private family law practice for three years. In this role, she gained vast experience with the full range of family law matters, seeing them through from the very beginning to resolution. She previously practiced law with a Philadelphia firm dedicated to providing quality legal services for reasonable fees. This firm emphasized clients’ education to make well-informed decisions through the stages of negotiation and litigation that are unique to family law and landlord-tenant matters. She was also previously employed as an associate attorney by a private firm with a focus on family law matters. Alicia continues her mission to provide efficient, high quality, and compassionate legal services for her clients. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and represents clients throughout Montgomery, Bucks, Philadelphia, and Berks Counties. Alicia is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association. She also provides pro bono legal services through select non-profit organizations in an effort to support her local community in and around Montgomery County. In addition to her family law career, Alicia enjoys sharing the kitchen with her husband, dancing in the living room with her two young children and yorkie, reading, and taking any chance to visit a beach.

Divorce & Family Law, Estate

As a former Assistant District Attorney, Stephanie Ojeda is an experienced courtroom lawyer who has worked with hundreds of clients, advocating for them on a wide range of issues, including divorce and family law matters. Her peers know Stephanie as a proactive divorce lawyer who is always ready to take action on her client’s behalf. She understands the emotional impact that prolonged litigation can have on families, and she fights to achieve efficient resolutions. Stephanie Ojeda brings a unique blend of compassionate advocacy and fierce litigation skills to her role as a divorce attorney in Philadelphia. She has guided hundreds of clients through some of the toughest moments in their lives, helping them navigate complex family law matters with a steady hand. “My goal is always to make sure my clients feel supported and safe,” Stephanie shares. “When they are empowered to make informed decisions, we can work together toward a brighter, more stable future.” Stephanie’s approach is rooted in her ability to build a strong rapport with her clients. Her honest and direct communication style allows clients to open up and feel understood, making the legal process easier to manage. She is particularly passionate about giving a voice to those who feel voiceless, especially clients who have been psychologically beaten down by abusive partners. Stephanie doesn’t just provide legal representation; she helps her clients rediscover their self-confidence and see the light at the end of the tunnel. One of Stephanie’s most rewarding cases involved representing a client in a Protection from Abuse (PFA) hearing. In this case, one partner was clearly abusing the legal system to the detriment of her ex and their children. Stephanie’s fierce advocacy helped to expose this misuse of the system, ultimately aiming to bring peace and justice to her client and protect the children involved. “It’s moments like these,” Stephanie says, “when I know my work is making a real difference — not just legally, but in the lives of the families I serve.” By focusing on protecting her clients’ rights and interests, Stephanie offers a sense of balance and stability during tumultuous times. She is proud to have helped individuals who have faced significant power differentials in their relationships, guiding them toward a happier and more secure future. Before joining Petrelli Previtera, Stephanie worked as an assistant district attorney in Philadelphia, where she prepared and conducted more than 40 bench trials that focused on family law, child sexual assault, and protection order violations for cases of abuse. She also sat first chair in felony trials in the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit. Her passion for family law began as a Certified Domestic Violence Advocate with Congreso de Latinos Unidos, where she assisted with client intakes, motions, and document translation for Philadelphia Courts. Stephanie earned her Juris Doctor and Certificate of Trial Advocacy from Philadelphia’s Temple University Beasley School of Law. During her time at Temple University Beasley School of Law, she was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus, the secretary for the Latin American Law Student Association, the bilingual student advocate in the School Discipline Advocacy Series, and the class assistant to the Honorable Mia Perez in Integrated Trial Advocacy. Stephanie is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and is an active member of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she lives in Philadelphia with her spouse and two pit bulls. When she is not advocating for her clients, she spends her time gardening, cooking, restoring old furniture, and traveling.

Taylor A. Gerchman founded Life Legal after working for several small to mid-size insurance law firms in the Philadelphia area where she proved herself to be a hard-working and dedicated attorney. From the beginning of her legal career, Taylor has focused solely on insurance litigation with an emphasis on group, whole or term life insurance claims, beneficiary disputes, and ERISA claim appeals. Taylor prides herself on recovering millions of dollars in life insurance benefits on behalf of her clients so far, and intends to more than double that amount in the coming years. Prior to becoming an attorney, Taylor earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.
