About Philip
Philip J. Piscopo became a partner with the firm on January 1, 2007. He concentrates his practice in civil litigation and appeals, including contract and corporate litigation. He also assists clients in both residential and commercial real estate and business transactions. After graduating from the University of Illinois, he received his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1997. Philip then assisted the judges of the Kane County Circuit Court as a staff attorney in criminal, family, and civil matters. He joined Cooper & Storm as an associate in 1999, and has represented clients before the Illinois Supreme and Appellate Courts and Circuit Courts throughout the area, as well as in Federal Court. Philip enjoys research and writing, particularly the preparation of appellate arguments. A resident of Glen Ellyn, Philip is a member of the American, Illinois, Du Page County and Kane County Bar Associations.
